The city of Versailles is the seat of Morgan County Missouri.  Located in central Missouri, Versailles is approximately 40 miles southwest of Jefferson City, 40 miles southeast of Sedalia, 140 miles east of Kansas City, 180 miles west of St. Louis, and just 8 miles north of the Lake Of The Ozarks.
