This is the Email setup for plsos.com.  Any goofy little mistake, like a dot or capital letter in the wrong place, or even a misplaced blank space, will cause the whole thing not to work, so follow everything as precisely as possible.

plsos.com Email Setup

1.  Click Outlook Express.
2.  At the top of the page, click Tools.
3.  Click Accounts.
4.  Click the Mail tab.

5.  You can remove any accounts already here by clicking on it, then clicking Remove.
6.  Click Add.
7.  Click Mail.

8.  Type in whatever name you wish.  This is the name others will see when they receive your Emails.
9.  Click Next.

10.  Type in your Email address.  We give you your username when you sign up with us.  Type username@plsos.com.
11.  Click Next.

12.  Make sure the choice in the first box is POP3.
13.  Under "Incoming Mail" type pop.plsos.com.
14.  Under "Outgoing Mail", type smtp.plsos.com.
15.  Click Next.

16.  Next to "Account Name", type your Email address, username@plsos.com.
17.  Next to "Password", type your password, remembering that capitals matter.
18.  Make sure there is a check next to "Remember Password".
19.  Make sure there is not a check in the last box.
20.  Click Next.

21.  Click Finish.

22.  Click Properties.

23.  Click the Servers tab.
24.  Make sure your incoming mail server is a POP3.
25.  Make sure your incoming mail says pop.plsos.com.
26.  Make sure your outgoing mail says smtp.plsos.com.
27.  Place a check next to Remember Password.
28.  Make sure there is not a check next to Log On Using Secure Password.
29.  Place a check next to My Server requires authentication.
30.  Click OK.
31.  Click Close.
32.  Now close Outlook Express.
33.  You're ready to mail!  But hey, things can still go "wonky", so if you have any problems, give us a call at 573-378-6464.
